Yoga has been part of my life for decades and quietly informs how I move, create, and live.

While I offer yoga and art as separate practices, they share a common foundation: presence, curiosity, and care. This page is a home for my yoga offerings and for anyone who feels called to move, breathe, and explore awareness through the body.

You don’t need to be flexible, experienced, or familiar with yoga to begin. You only need a willingness to show up as you are.

Yoga & Mindfulness

My teaching is grounded, supportive, and accessible, with a functional approach to yoga that honors how bodies actually move and live in the real world.

Rather than focusing on achieving shapes, I emphasize:

  • How movement feels in your body

  • Building strength, stability, and mobility that supports daily life

  • Using breath and awareness to guide choice and adaptation

Classes are:

  • Beginner-friendly and inclusive

  • Breath-led and thoughtfully paced

  • Functional and adaptable, with options and props offered throughout

  • Rooted in curiosity, sensation, and self-trust

Some days the practice feels energizing, other days quiet or restorative. All of it is welcome, and all of it serves a purpose.

My Approach

What to Expect

If you’re new to yoga, you’re welcome here.

You’ll be guided clearly, encouraged to rest when needed, and offered options throughout class. There’s no pressure to “get it right”, the practice is about learning to listen, adapt, and respond with care.

Come as you are.

Private & Small-Group Yoga

Private and small-group sessions offer a more personal, supportive way to practice, with time, space, and attention centered on you.

These sessions are shaped around your body, your experience, and your intentions. Together, we explore movement, breath, and rest in a way that supports strength, mobility, awareness, and ease, both on and off the mat.

Private Sessions

One-on-one sessions provide individualized guidance and a practice tailored specifically to you. Sessions may include:

  • Functional movement to support strength and mobility

  • Breathwork and mindful pacing

  • Modifications and prop support for your unique needs

  • Space to ask questions and explore your practice more deeply

  • Mindfulness and meditation

Private sessions are ideal if you’re new to yoga, returning after time away, navigating injury or limitation, or simply seeking a more personalized approach or want to deepen your practice.

Small-Group Sessions

Practice with a partner, friends, or a small group in an intimate setting. Small-group sessions balance individual attention with the shared experience of practicing together.

These sessions are well-suited for:

  • Friends or family practicing together

  • Couples seeking a shared practice

  • Small groups wanting a consistent, supportive routine

  • Special events

  • Bridal parties

  • Birthdays

  • Group or corporate events.

Small group sessions are welcoming, adaptable, and paced with care. There’s no pressure to perform or push. The focus is on listening, responding, and building a sustainable practice that meets you where you are.

A Note on Art & Yoga

Although yoga and art are offered separately here on my site, both are essential and deeply woven into my life. Each practice informs the other in quiet, meaningful ways. On occasion, I may offer a combination of the two practices together…

Yoga has shaped how I listen, how I move, and how I pay attention, qualities that naturally carry into my creative process. Art, in turn, has taught me about curiosity, patience, and trusting what wants to emerge, lessons that return with me to the mat.

In many ways, they are parallel practices. Both invite presence, exploration, and a willingness to stay with experience rather than rush toward outcomes. Both offer space for inquiry, expression, and care.

That is why I have included my yoga offerings here on my art website- different paths, held together by the same values of awareness, integrity, and intention.

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self."

  • “I came to yoga feeling unsure and a little intimidated. From the very first class, I felt supported and at ease. The focus on listening to my body instead of pushing into poses changed how I think about movement and honestly, how I take care of myself.”
